A little something to say a big thank you to our Nurses and Midwives

Here’s the thing: no coffee is strong enough, no croissant warm enough, no wrap tasty enough to match what nurses and midwives do every single day.

But we still try.

Every year.

With all our heart (and our best beans).

In May 2025, we showed up across our cafés with one goal: to say thank you. A real, no-fluff, you-deserve-so-much-more kind of thank you.

To say thank you to our nurses and midwives, we gave away hundreds of free coffees and we also handed out breakfast treats! It wasn’t much. But it was something.

Something warm, made with heart, and hopefully, something that made the day feel even 5% better.

We did this at campuses across Prince of Wales Hospital Public and Private, The Sutherland Hospital, Hornsby Ku-Ring-Gai Hospital and Liverpool Hospital.

Why do we do it?

Because our nurses and midwives run the show when no one’s looking.

Because they’re there at the worst and best moments of someone’s life.

Because we know they don’t always get time to eat, or rest or even breath some days.

And while we can’t fix a whole lot of things, we can show up. With killer coffee of course. With something warm, wholesome and good. With the kind of gesture that says, “Hey, we see you. Thank you.”

Until next Nurses Day

We’ll keep the ovens hot and the flat whites pouring. You show up for everyone, so we’ll always show up for you!
